These terms govern your use of Picture Puzzle, a puzzle game for Roku made by Gareth Jones (“we”, “us”). By installing or playing the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Using the app

  • Licence. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play Picture Puzzle on Roku devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment.
  • Roku’s terms also apply. You must also follow Roku’s own terms and policies when using the app.
  • Privacy. How we handle information is set out in the Picture Puzzle Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Fair play

Leaderboards only work if every result is genuine. When using the app, you must not:

  • submit results you did not achieve through normal play, including by automating moves or altering the time or move count;
  • modify, reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, its saved data or its communication with our server, except where the law allows this;
  • send requests to our server other than through the app, or try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to it;
  • use another player’s anonymous ID or username, or pretend to be someone else;
  • copy, extract or redistribute the puzzle images.

We may remove results, reset scores or withdraw leaderboard access where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

Purchases

  • Premium upgrades are sold through Roku’s payment system. Roku processes the payment, and Roku’s billing and refund terms apply.
  • What you buy is a licence to use the premium features in the app, not ownership of any content.
  • If something goes wrong with a purchase, contact Roku first for billing issues, or contact us if the upgrade does not unlock.
  • Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.

Ownership

The app, its design, code and puzzle images belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any rights to them beyond the licence above.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the app and leaderboards running, but we do not guarantee they will always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or withdraw features, puzzles or leaderboards at any time. We may also update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

The app is provided “as is” for entertainment. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of saved progress, including progress lost because your device has run out of storage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Ending your access

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access to online features if you break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, EU or the rest of the world, you keep any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
